As others have said the Corvette clearly outshines it in combat but a combat Anaconda can still be fairly good. The Anaconda is pretty much the most versatile ship hull in the game and is more than a jack-of-trades because it can pretty much do everything a bit better than just average. Getting the rank up to get the vette can be a little tedious (will take an evening or two, and you'll probably wanna use something like a T9 for it unless you only do courier stuff - big ugh for you as a bounty hunter wouldn't it). You'd be getting it mostly to get the feeling of a new murder tool. Vette is really more pure-combat, it just trivializes combat against NPCs (but so does a sidewinder or T9 with some engineering :D), so it could kill stuff faster than an anaconda imo, but i wouldn't expect a massive step up from the FDL in terms of killing speed. The low maneuverability will probably make you kill things less quickly, the FDL has enough firepower already. That said, you can still make some credits but at a much slower pace than other ships on the list.I think that if you're a pure combat person, the Conda might not be a step up from the FDL, especially if you're already any good at combat.Īnaconda is versatile and has all those cool things that people listed, but you probably don't care about dropping SRVs on your targets or jumping on top of their heads from the other side of the bubble. You can slot everything you'll need for core mining, but it's going to be a pain and slow. Keelback - serviceable but really only for those wishing to give mining a shot or taking a break from whatever else you people do in the game. though at slow speeds, stopping is a non-issue. Slower getting around and lower maneuverability as well. Those designated military slots hurt the ship for mining overall. Had the hardpoints, utility, but really lacks the internals. best bang for the buck.įederal Dropship - love the look of this (well all FED) ship. But it makes up for that in that extra internal for more cargo. Nimble enough to get around the eggshells, speedy enough to get around the rings.though little less than the KR8MKII. Wanted something different just to change things up, but this is still the best IMHO at mining. Python - started mining in this way back in the early PS4 days. enough cargo to make trips really worth it and keep you coming back. decent amount of cargo to make trips worth it. nimble around the eggshells and speedy around the ring. Slower getting around, but the ship does look the part more than the swag wagon above. bonus points if you drop a corroded paint job on it.Ĭonda - much like the cutter but less overall carrying cargo space. Large pad only restricts where to sell your materials. Speed in getting around the ring though is great. Sluggish in maneuvering around cracked eggs/debris. Weapon was never needed, but shield definitely was for me.Ĭutter - nothing can top the cargo space for bulk mining. Each ship I have messed around with slotted a shield in one of the optional slots and had at least one combat weapon installed just in case. So since I came back because they improved my area of interest I've used a few of my ships and bought some others to see how they work.
